How We Assist All First Responders

Education

Provided to new recruits for police, fire and paramedic services or when requested by a service.

Support

At anytime a member from any service may contact the 24-hr number and request to speak with a member of the team.

Defuse

As soon as possible after an event, usually within 48 hrs; structured process; primarily education focused – anyone can request.
CISM (1)

Debrief

Usually 3-5 days post event; structured process; deeper exploration of event, with education – anyone can request.

Referral

At any time, when necessary to a mental health professional for assessment – can be requested.

DRCISST has a team of instructors who can provide complete training in ICISF certified courses.
